An Update on Heidi

Catching you up to speed on Heidi. She is doing great and has developed into a beautiful young lady. Heidi is 13" tall and weights 13lbs. and a few ounces, is active, happy and healthy. She has completed puppy kindergarten with great success, is intelligent, learns quickly and enjoys learning new things. She has had one heat cycle at six months old.
Heidi is a good traveler, loves to ride in the car, take walks, meet people and in general do anything with her people family. She also has captured the heart of the neighborhood and wants to be petted and loved on by everyone. Heidi is a showoff too. She holds her head high and prances when walking. Her trainer would make comments on her show walk every training sesson she went to.

Maverick is doing great-A Shadow and Remington Pup

Maverick is doing great. It is a wonderful dog. He loves us and we love him. He sleeps in my bed with or without me everynight. He has another schnauzer friend(Addie)next door and they do their hugging thing everytime they see each other. I think its so neat how the schnauzers recognize each other. Other dogs he just barks at.ds

Two puppies at one time going home the question

From time to time we get asked what works best for puppies going home and having two pups.
We get asked about all combinations:
1. Two little boys together= same litter or different litter
2. Two girls together = same litter and different litter
3. A boy and girl going home together same of different litter

Our experience has been any combination will work when two pups go home together..
More than likely there will differences in the pups and how they react.
WE have had success with all possibilites. We have talked to new families who have taken two pup home at the same time. The pups have done amazing well together. It is best if they sleep in crates at night for each to sleep in a separate crate.

Famlies have really like having two pups grow up together. Carter was from ShayLA and Lincoln was from Shadow. They were neutered at 5-6 months and have since they went home loved being together in Northern Ky. There are two girls from Piper in Elizabethtown Ky and do great.
Two pups from Shadow are now in Tn and boy and girl. Mac and a Shadow pup are in Indiana are both boys and love being with their new family. Also Barney and Bailey have a blast in West Virginia. Each will have a dominant pup but they always blend together and adapt quickly while growing up.

All have been real success stories going home in pairs.
